Hi, I’m Shubham, and the mountains have been my classroom, my challenge, and my calling for as long as I can remember. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of leading treks across the awe-inspiring Himalayas—guiding adventurers through some of the most breathtaking and remote trails in India. From towering snow-clad peaks to lush alpine meadows, my journey as an outdoor leader has been as much about people as it is about nature.
My Mountaineering Journey
In 2018, I took the first formal steps into mountaineering with a Basic Mountaineering Course, quickly followed by the Advanced Mountaineering Course. Both were completed at the prestigious Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM), Uttarkashi, where I later also pursued a Search and Rescue course (2024). These experiences deepened not just my technical skills but also my understanding of mountain safety, risk management, and leadership in extreme environments.
Wilderness First Responder (WFR) – Safety First
Safety is at the heart of every expedition I lead. To ensure I’m prepared for any situation in the backcountry, I completed the Wilderness First Responder (WFR) course from NOLS, one of the world’s leading outdoor education institutions. It’s allowed me to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies, and given trekkers the peace of mind they need to fully enjoy the wild.
More than Trekking
For me, being in the mountains isn’t just about trekking—it’s about building connections, fostering resilience, and helping others discover their strength in nature’s rawest form. Whether it’s someone’s first hike or their tenth summit, I aim to create experiences that stay with people long after the trek ends.
